I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend.
This week we are preparing a beautiful and inspiring musical program for the Feast of the Ascension- we hope that you will join us at Mass this Thursday!
Choir of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders will sing various sacred selections from the Misalette
Mass will be at 9am on Thursday May 30, led by Kindergarten students.
Student Choir will sing various selections:"Hail The Day That Sees Christ Rise", "Sing We Triumphant Hymn of Praise","Jesus Christ, Bread of Life", "Crown Him With Many Crowns".
Younger grades, in PreK, K and 1 will continue to practice for our upcoming Father's Day presentation on June 13. They will also be using various percussion instruments to expand their rhythmic motor skills and will continue to learn about the various orchestra instruments.
Students in grades 4-8 will be perfecting their block flute/recorder skills, by learning how to play the classic spiritual "When The Saints Go Marching In" as well as a beautiful Iroquois Lullaby song " Ho Ho Watanay/Sleep Little One" which they will also sing in both English and Iroquois language.
