2) Composers  of sacred music (each of the 5 students in this group has been assigned a different composer)
3) Music instruments used in Catholic Church throughout the ages, from early Church music till today

1) For the students who have the subject of Patron Saint of Music,  they are to describe the life of Saint and reasons why they are considered to be a patron of music using accurate historical facts.

- biographical information,  place of birth, nationality, education, family background
- list reasons or reason why they are considered to be the patron Saint of music or arts
- details about how they became a Saint, the year they were beatified, during their life or after their death etc.
- please include a drawing or a photo of the Saint
- please describe ways that the specific Saint  has influenced you and how, with his/her life and deeds

2) For those who have the composers they are to list the biographical information of the assigned composer, list their religious compositions/ works, describe the instrumentation used, theme, and why the composers wrote the works, for what purpose ( please explain in detail).
Here are some points you should follow:
- place of birth, nationality, birthday, education, family background, brief career synopsis
- list of compositions the composer wrote only for religious purposes or with a religious theme,  please do not list their secular works no matter how famous ( you can , however, mention those works in their biographical information)
- try to find out why each of the religious/sacred music pieces was written, if it was commissioned by a third-party, was it a part of their job, or were they simply inspired to write a sacred piece of music on their own
- please include photos or portraits of the composers or pictures of their hometown or anything else you might find interesting to include as a visual portion of your project

3) For those students that have instruments used in Church music throughout the ages, here are some helpful points:

- list all instruments used for worship during mass throughout history
– history of instruments used for mass from the early days of church throughout the middle ages and until today
– how did Church music evolve over centuries  and what kind of instruments can we see in the church services of our day
– Please provide pictures/photos of various instruments

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.
