Have a safe and happy Haloween! We’ve been singing lots of spooky songs and playing spooky sound games with Prek1-5 as well as K and 1 grades. We continue to prepare for the All Saints mass this Wednesday, when the choir will sing songs dedicated to saints such as For All the Saints and Sing With All the Saints In Glory.
In addition to recorders and music notation knowledge, we will be expanding the music vocabulary as well with various vocabulary words that are musical in nature- most of them are in Italian as that was deemed language of music back in 16th century and where music notation was invented in the 12th century.
We are also working hard to prepare music for our next presentation in November which of course is dedicated to Thanksgiving- lots of songs about being thankful and happy for what we have- God, family, our country.
